About Bandrolsüz

Bandrolsüz is a collective formed in February 2011 through the joined efforts of Bakkal Press, Torna, Onagöre, REC Collective, and Too Many Books.

Bandrolsüz aims to create a platform for the sale and distribution of books and printed multiples.

At a time when electronic publications and magazines have begun to replace printed work, Bandrolsüz provides a space for small-scale independent publishers—those who view the book as both a medium and a physical site—to operate outside mainstream distribution companies and chain bookstores.

Through sales events in various venues, workshops, and talks, the collective aims to draw attention to alternative modes of production, generate resources for new works, and create new meeting opportunities for book lovers.
